You meet with our clinician who is an expert in professional wills for a 1-hour consultation. Together we plan.
You name a personal representative who will be responsible for notifying TheraClosure in the event of your death and incapacitation.
The will names TheraClosure as your Practice Executor.
We send the completed will to you for e-signature.
You get a free Password Manager to keep up-to-date logins and passwords to your professional digital systems.
Several times a year, you will be prompted to update information about your practice in case anything has changed.
Renew each year to keep us on retainer.
02
Should anything happen, in Phase I, a TheraClosure clinician will conduct immediate triage of active patients and will secure your records.
Review your will and detailed practice preferences.
Change voicemail and website directing all enquiries to TheraClosure (and minimizing any attempts to contact you or your family).
Immediately contact by phone your upcoming scheduled patients and inform them of your death.
Compassionately help patients process tragic news.
Identify available referrals suited to your clients’ needs and facilitate transfer.
Secure all electronic health records within TheraClosure’s HIPAA-compliant storage according to regulations in your jurisdiction. (However, we are unable to assume responsibility for billing patients for those using paper recording systems.)
For those with paper recording systems, we will implement the detailed plan you devised so that your estate will provide access to your calendar, client list, and will cooperate with TheraClosure to digitize paper files requiring retention. The Estate will be billed for the cost of this service.
